EIB – The Victor Hugo School caters for students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 and has been designed to offer the Middle Years Programme* of the International Baccalaureate.
For grades 9 and 10, students follow a bespoke curriculum with specific subjects in key academic areas, including a variety of electives. Some grade 9 (Year 10) subjects and most grade 10 (Year 11) subjects lead to the official University of Cambridge International IGCSE examinations. Students can pass the IGCSE exam (optional).
EIB – The Victor Hugo School follows the Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate in Junior High School, complemented by daily French instruction offered at five proficiency levels.
At the end of the Junior High School, students can continue their learning journey in the Middle Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate and work towards the IB Diploma Porgramme which prepares them to earn the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Every morning, before the beginning of the classes, our students have a Registration session with their Homeroom teacher. Classes start at 8.45 AM and finish at 4.50 PM every day except on Wednesdays, when students finish at 1 PM.
Grade 6 and 7 students have lunch at school, while students from Grade 8 are allowed to leave campus and enjoy lunch in the nearby park.
